2. Data we collect
We may collect the following categories of personal data:
- Identity data: name, date of birth
- Contact data: email address, telephone number, postal address
- Health data: information you provide during consultations, prescriptions, clinical history (special category data under UK GDPR Article 9)
- Technical data: IP address, browser type, cookies (see Section 8)
- Communications data: messages you send via our contact form or by email
We do not collect payment card data directly. Any payments are processed through PCI-DSS-compliant third-party payment processors.
3. How we use your data
We use your personal data to:
- Provide pharmacy services, dispensing, and clinical consultations

- Send appointment reminders and follow-up communications
- Comply with our legal and regulatory obligations (GPhC, MHRA, NHS)

4. Lawful basis for processing
Under UK GDPR, we rely on the following lawful bases depending on the activity:

For health (special category) data, we additionally rely on Article 9(2)(h) — processing for the purposes of preventive or occupational medicine and the provision of healthcare.
6. How long we keep your data
- Clinical / prescription records: minimum 8 years from last entry (NHS/GPhC requirement)
- Contact form enquiries: 2 years, then securely deleted
- Newsletter subscribers: until you unsubscribe
- Analytics data: 14 months (Google Analytics default) — only collected with consent
7. Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to:
- Access — request a copy of your personal data (Subject Access Request)
- Rectification — correct inaccurate data
- Erasure— “right to be forgotten” where processing is no longer necessary
- Restriction — limit how we use your data
- Portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format
- Object — to processing based on legitimate interests or for direct marketing
- Withdraw consent — at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing

9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Significant changes will be communicated by email where we hold your address, or via a notice on our website.
Continued use of our website or services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
